Every trap except the Teleporter will harm a survivor who comes into contact with it, usually stunning them though traps can have various effects. Traps are placed by the Piggy or Traitor (except the Insolence and Spike traps, both being map hazards) as a means of stopping players from progressing and aiding in killing them.
